Where to Find Color Pallets

Where do you find color pallets? They are everywhere! Let me tell you how I found this color pallet. Come on, let’s have some fun with this. Please play along with the questions and leave a comment.

I was at a salvage store the other day walking around and checking what all they had. Low and behold, I saw a table full of $1 scrap pieces of rugs. I so could not pass this up! They were screaming my name!!!

We have been looking a while for something like this for Electra’s crate so she does not have to sit on the hard plastic trays. The crate is her outside area and it has three shelves. We do not let her roam free outside…other animals like fox, coyote, dogs, cars that could do harm to her. This was perfect! I picked up 4 and this was one of them.

Oh, and by the way, she (Electra) has already check all 4 rug pieces out and has given her approval to put them in her crate.

Okay, back to the real story here. So I will looking at the above piece of rug, and thought…hummmm I would say that looks like a little color pallet on the bottom to me. What do you think?

The next step…picking out Stampin’ Up! ink pads that would work well for these colors. Did I do a good job at picking out colors? LEAVE A COMMENT BELOW. Should I use Pebbled Path or Cray Granite?

That was fun picking out colors. And now that I have completed that task (at lease mostly…waiting to hear from you too), now time to pick a stamp set. Will you help me with that also? LEAVE A COMMENT BELOW on which set I should use to create a card.

I will give it a few day and will create a card. I also sent out an email to my subscribers asking for their opinions and help.

  1. Seaside Wishes would be my favorite. I love the ocean and the shells near it.

  2. I don’t know, but it looks like I may have to do a lot of playing around and do one of each!

  3. I would like to see the flowers and little stool. I think pecan pie and cherry would be pretty.
