Goodbye Cling Stamps: What You Need to Know

Big changes are coming to the Stampin’ Up! stamping lineup—and I want to make sure you’re in the know!

After many years of creativity with cling (red rubber) stamps, Stampin’ Up! has made the decision to discontinue the cling line. This choice wasn’t made lightly, but the raw materials used to make cling stamps have become increasingly difficult to source. Some of those materials are no longer being manufactured at all.

Rather than risk ongoing disruptions, Stampin’ Up! is making a thoughtful, strategic shift to photopolymer stamps—ensuring we’ll continue to have plenty of high-quality, versatile stamp options for every kind of crafter.

    The Transition Timeline

Here’s a quick look at when cling stamps will begin phasing out:

    • November 2025 → All new stamps in Online Exclusives will be photopolymer only.
    • September–December 2025 Mini Catalog → This is the last mini catalog with cling stamps. In December 2025, those cling sets will move to Last Chance Products (while supplies last). None will carry over.
    • 2025–2026 Annual Catalog → This will be the final annual catalog with cling stamps. In April 2026, all cling sets will move to Last Chance Products (while supplies last).
    • Online Exclusives → Any cling stamps released up through September 2025 will be supported until April 2026 at the latest (but some may discontinue earlier).
    • Final Transition → In April 2026, all remaining cling stamps will officially retire and only be available while supplies last.

    What This Means for You

    • If you love cling stamps, now’s the time to grab your favorites before they’re gone for good.
    • Expect exciting new photopolymer designs starting late 2025 and beyond.
    • Rest assured—photopolymer offers clear placement, crisp stamping, and endless creative possibilities.

Tip from me: Don’t wait until the last minute. Cling sets will likely sell out quickly once they hit Last Chance status. If there’s a stamp set on your wish list, grab it sooner rather than later!
