Fun Fold Card

Sometimes you just have to create a fun fold card for a creative challenge. I joined some friends in creating a card which had certain parameters in how to create it.

Here is what we had to use:

• 3 different patterned paper
• 6 different shapes
• 4 different layers
• 3 different “bling”

Looking at what needed to be used I thought a fun fold card would be the perfect solution.

So right off, in the above photo you can see that I used the 3 different patterned paper.

Next was the 6 different shapes. Lets count them out.

1. Oval tag
2. Scalloped oval tag
3. Rectangle Belly Band
4. Corner punch
5. Square inside
6. Each fold in the card is a different size shape

Let’s go over the layers. Good thing we only needed four…but I did get it.

1. The belly band actually has 3 layers itself.
   • The vanilla oval.
   • The scalloped oval.
   • Dimensionals used to layer it to the band.
2. The little square inside has a layer and it is a layer.
3. Each patterned paper as well as the center vanilla are layers.
4. With all that I think I hit the number 4 for layers.

Last be not least, it is “BLING” time!

1. Look at the tag on the belly band. There is one bling by the flower.
2. The inside square flap has a little bee as well as the center vanilla.
3. But I am also counting as bling, the “HELLO friend” is embossed.

Anyway, I had a blast creating this card. One of those times thinking outside the box.
