As crafters, sometimes we don’t have much time so we have to create by making it simply. However there are times that we can take our time and layer up our creations.
We all know that our time is valuable. Sometimes we have more time that we can craft, but other times, we need a cute card, but don’t have much time to work on it. This is a cute card, right? And it falls in the quick and easy. Do a little two-step stamping and add a tag and presto…done.
Other times, we have more time that we can spend creating and we can add a little extra to our creation. Take for instant this card.
Notice that I still did a little two-step stamping, but I also had some to add a little extra layers. Look what a difference a little extra time can make. Add a layer to the sentiment, as well as adding a layer of flowers and leaves. This card is just a cute, right? It just adds a little extra to the card.
For those times that we really have some extra time, look at what we can create. Looking at this card now, it would have been kind of neat to do a little stamping around the frame.
With non-rushed time, you can make a layered picture. Let’s take this card apart.
- First, we have the background and oval frame.
- Second, we add multiple layers with the stems and leaves.
- Next adding texture with die cute flowers.
- We keep layering using dimensional.
- Finally, we finish up by adding a little bling in the center of the flowers and around the frame.
