    ARE YOU IN A LOVE/HATE RELATIONSHIP…

Are you in a LOVE/HATE relationships with Facebook?!

Some of you may or may not agree with me on this subject, but I feel there are times that I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with Facebook!

There are some great things about Facebook.

    • Great way to get back in touch with friends
    • Wonderful way to bridge the miles with family that live far away
    • You can get information out to many people at one time
    • Fantastic way to share my business

BUT, there are some things that are not so great about Facebook, and one big one is…

    • Facebook has taken the “PERSONAL” out of our society!

Again, some of you may not feel like this. I have many friends (and family) and YES I know everyone that is listed on my friends list. However, I don’t see and cannot see everything that everyone of them post every day. I don’t think that is humanly possible, at lease not for me.

Why am I bringing this up? Well, recently I found out that a dear friend of mine passed away A YEAR AND A HALF AGO, AND YES, I JUST FOUND OUT THAT SHE DIED!

Talking about going through the gamut of emotions! I think I hit all of them in a very short period of time. Why am i sharing this? Stay with me a little longer, keep reading, I am getting there.

Of course I was sad that she had passed away, but what REALLY upset me is that I am now WAY beyond a respectful time frame to send out any sympathy cards to her family.

Yes, if I had know about it at the time of her passing, I could have left a comment to the post, but again, not the same as receiving a personalized note in the mail.

So with this being said, would you be just as happy with someone leaving a comment or would it mean more to receive a beautiful hand made card in the mail. Leave your thoughts below.
